Elevate your memories into art.
Offering a thoughtful experience that holds space for your love language.
soul connection
Photographing human connection is incredibly nuanced and beautiful.
That is why, if you are a client of mine, I want to know what makes your heart sing. I want to know how your partner shows their love for you when no one is watching. Your favorite coffee shop. Your most treasured memories, and the biggest challenge you have gone through together (if you are open to sharing about that). Understanding who you are allows me to observe and capture those subtleties in an authentic way — right down to the souls.

My photographs are romantic, natural, candid in nature, and at times editorially inspired.
At the heart of my approach to photographing weddings is visual storytelling in an emotive and artful way. I like to consider myself an observer and collector of moments — particularly those fleeting ‘in between’ moments that you might have missed or forgotten. As a photojournalistic photographer, I create my best work not when forcing moments or poses, but by simply being present to capture the spirit of the celebration around me (don’t worry, I do provide gentle direction and guidance when needed!).
When photographing couples, it is my intention to keep things fluid, natural, and true to your energy. I will always encourage your interaction with each other over the camera. I strive to provide a deeply personal client experience that allows me to observe and capture the subtleties of your love language in a connected, authentic way.

That said, full day wedding coverage begins at $8,450, elopements and intimate events begin at $2,850, and portrait sessions begin at $950. Full day coverage begins 90 minutes prior to you getting dressed, and ends one hour after the dance floor opens. Rather than being limited to a condensed or rushed photo timeline, this structure allows us the time and space to be fully present, take our time with creative portraits, and honor the art form of documenting each part of your celebration with intention and care. Storytelling, without limitations.
For most weddings, full day coverage translates to 8 - 10 hours of time together. We will work through timeline and logistical details together, or in partnership with your planner, to allow space for not only your photographic priorities, but also the beautiful in-between moments, subtleties, and details that make your celebration unique.

I work both alone and with a second photographer for couples who opt to include one, and ultimately, I want the decision to feel right for you. Many couples ask my opinion on adding a second shooter to their wedding day coverage, and the short answer is, it depends!
While some celebrations are certainly suited to two photographers documenting in partnership, including a second photographer isn’t always necessary for comprehensive coverage or a complete wedding gallery. You will want to consider your timeline, coverage preferences (especially for moments like getting ready in multiple locations), guest count, and budget to determine if one or two photographers meet your needs.
Some couples prefer knowing that multiple vantage points of a single moment are captured. If your guest list is large (150 people or more), it may be beneficial to have an additional photographer, simply to divide and conquer with so many moments happening simultaneously. That said, I am confident and capable of working alone, and skilled at capturing multiple things happening within crucial events, like the ceremony or your first dance, for example.
If you are still unsure, I’m happy to chat further about your needs and whether one or two photographers will be a better fit for the coverage you’re looking for.

Every celebration is unique, and the quantity of photos in your gallery will vary based on coverage, guest count, number of photographers, locations, and traditions involved. For most weddings, you can expect to receive 75 - 100 images per hour of coverage.
-
Delivery time of galleries may vary depending on the time of year, but typically, you will receive a highlight gallery within 1 - 2 weeks of your event, and the full gallery within 12 weeks. Editing is a crucial part of the craft, and I devote time and care to each image you receive, ensuring every frame is thoughtfully edited as a reflection of my style, as well as the palette and feeling of your celebration.

A first look allows us space to slow down, enjoy a few quiet moments together in private, breathe, and create gorgeous portraits — hearts on sleeves, ready to marry your person.
A lot of couples find that having a first look doesn’t take away the magic of that aisle moment. If you are nervous in front of crowds or introverted, this may be a great opportunity for you to enjoy the reveal freely without distraction or pressure.
Logistically, this time also provides the opportunity before the ceremony to accomplish formal portraits with your immediate family and wedding party, if you have one. Doing so will free up precious cocktail hour time, allowing you to mingle with your guests and enjoy a bit of downtime, rather than being swept away for portraits.
All that to say – this decision is 100% up to you!

It depends! While I adore Maine celebrations, I am always open to a unique travel opportunity.
Most travel fees are included in my pricing, but should an overnight stay be required, I ask that accommodations be covered. Most Maine events do not incur travel fees, unless travel time exceeds 2 hours and/or I am also photographing your welcome event.

While this certainly varies with the ever-changing wedding planning trends, many couples reserve their date between 8 - 15 months in advance, with June, September and October as peak months for Maine weddings.
In providing a thoughtful, personalized experience for each of my clients, I take on a limited number of weddings per season, so that you can receive the best version of my work and my energy.
